Installation of a Pie de Gallo, in the Diamante River. (January 1970) San Rafael. mendoza
A group of workers installed a crow's foot to restore the emergency intake of Obras Sanitarias de La Nación on the Diamante River. The flood of 2,200 cubic meters per second practically erased the intake and it was necessary to replant it before the cut made in the marginal channels of the Diamante River by the Water Subdelegation, to avoid the effects of the flood. The men had to work for several hours with the water above their waist to locate the crow's feet, which were dangerously carried by the current.
